Recently, 2 of our housemates moved out and 2 new tenants moved in.

There was a fair amount of paperwork and phone calls to make sure that this transition of tenants was done properly through our lettings agents, but everyone is now moved in with the security of knowing that all our names are on the tenancy agreement and that any problems with either the maintenance of the house or the paying of the rent can be dealt with through the proper channels without any confusion as to who is actually living here.

I would recommend that any household going through the same changes do the same, to avoid finding yourself in a scenario whereby you find yourself liable for the actions of other people who never had their name on the tenancy.

All the staff at Collinson Hall were incredibly helpful as always regarding this matter.
