Hi Steven, I hope you don’t mind me emailing you, but I wanted to provide some feedback to you on the quality of your staff, in particular Robert. Robert has dealt with me throughout the whole purchasing process with politeness, courtesy, helpfulness and respect. He has still got the best price for the sellers (we paid over the asking price to get the house) so has maintained his role in the process but has facilitated the purchase and made our experience less stressful, been on hand to help answer queries and ensured a smooth transition from initial offer through to completion. I have enjoyed working with him and his hard work co-ordinating between the sellers and their solicitors, myself (enabling me to chase my solicitor and feedback where needed) has been clear to see. We would very much consider using Collinson Hall in the future as I believe your ability to deal with both parties well during a sale actually increases the likelihood of them going ahead and it being a relatively pain-free process. This approach seems far more sensible to me than the hard-nosed price-driven approach adopted by many others. This feedback extends to your other staff too; we have met with several of your staff (as we’ve had several viewings at the house to meet with builders, etc.) and all have had a friendly and courteous approach, particularly Philippa. Many thanks for all the help provided in the purchase of our house.
I did just want to say a big thank you to you and the team at Collinson Hall for all of your help - both with buying our new home and the subsequent support - not least advising on trustworthy tradesmen for some of the many jobs and accommodating our frequent requests for keys to the house (particularly Tom who I hear from Jon was very patient on numerous occasions waiting around whilst rooms were measured!). I think it might be a while until we’re able to move in, but we’ll definitely pop in and say hello next time we’re passing.
